Set and Setting: High noon on a day of full October sunshine, as the veil between worlds thins and the witches' new year approaches. Citybeard, a one-day music, art, and education festival. In the middle of lower North Philadelphia. On the grounds of a long-standing Ukraininan-American Citizens Association, a large wide-open grass field lined by pines, linden trees, and a barbed-wire fence. Placed in between two very large churches and a neighborhood who’s residents are 97.2% Black and 48.5% below the poverty line.
